There is something very special about the small bore British sports cars of the 1950s and 1960s. And nothing embodies this fun-to-drive, torquey charm better than the cars of Austin-Healey, MG, and Triumph.

For Austin-Healey, we service and specialize in all versions of the 3000 and Sprite.

For MG, we service and specialize in the MGB, Midget, MGC, MG TD, and MG TF.

For Triumph, we service and specialize in the Spitfire, GT6, TR6 and TR7.

Common issues arise from the age of parts and the lack of regular driving these vintage cars can experience. If your Austin-Healey, MG, or Triumph has been sitting through one of Oregon's long winters (or perhaps several winters) a number of issues can develop.

Depending on the symptoms, a tune up can bring the performance back to what you remember it being. Services involve replacing parts in the ignition system including: spark plugs, spark plug wires, points, condenser, ignition cap, and rotor. Other services include replacing the engine oil and filter, gearbox oil, differential oil, brake fluid, and lubricating and greasing the chassis fittings.

These older carbureted fuel systems also require regular adjustment and balancing. We are methodical and traditional in our approach and can also tune your fuel system for greater power or fuel economy.

Overheating is another common problem and is usually related to a clogged radiator, malfunctioning thermostat, or old coolant. Replacing or rebuilding these parts, plus fresh coolant, will bring operating temperatures back to normal.
